The Finger Squeeze Technique – Advantages & Disadvantages
Finger-Squeeze Super Power
The base becomes very narrow and very precise. It is almost perfect and made for natural eyelashes.
The humidity is absolutely irrelevant; different from the Peachick technique.
Therefore it is always advisable to master 2 or more techniques at the same time. If one technique doesn’t work for whatever reason, you can simply switch to the other. One certainly always works.
Finger squeeze Disadvantages
Unfortunately, you can only separate with tweezers. This takes an enormous amount of time. If you separate with 2 tweezers, you are definitely twice as fast. You know time is money.
You fan with your fingers. When separating, you often use your ring finger to help – the customer briefly has your finger on their face. Some customers may find it unsanitary or even gross. There are few of them, but these clients exist. Basically, the customer comes in for a lash extension set or fill up – it should be absolutely clear to him or her that they are being touched.
The biggest disadvantage of this technique
We lose an enormous amount of time.
It doesn’t matter which technique you choose: at the end of the set it is important that your customer is satisfied and of course you are too. Every lash maker knows it: if we are not satisfied with our own work, we cannot sleep at night.
Isolate lashes as cleanly as you can. Work as cleanly as you can. Do not disregard the basic rules. Every technique is fun and if you love your job, this always leads to a wonderful result.
