Living with Covid-19
I deliberately stayed close to this topic for a long time and withdrew from various communities because I could no longer stand all this stupid chatter.
The Covid-19 crisis has followed us for more than 6 weeks
And will continue to affect our entire lives for an indefinite period of time. Small retail stores up to 800 m² can open, but service providers in the field of personal care (lash studios, cosmetic studios, massage practices, etc.) remain closed.
We Lash makers have to understand that this situation exists and we cannot change it – as much as we wish we could. First and foremost, it is important that we strictly adhere to the recommended guidelines to help reduce the infection rate. I think it’s really bad what I get to read in the communities. Many try to blame the state for everything. You are always looking for someone to be responsible for bad situations because you cannot admit it yourself. Who is to blame? The people because they are waging a cold war, or mother nature because it’s not fair? We will probably never know.
Personally, I find all these conspiracy theorists very bad because they manipulate humanity with their insane theories. People just believe so many things. They believe in UFOs, in ghosts, in things they have never seen – but they don’t believe in the corona virus.
A virus that stands before them practically and theoretically.
Everyone should understand that. It should be forbidden that anyone can post his or her point of view in order to manipulate humanity. The corona virus does exist. The extent to which it affects us humans varies. Those who encounter it can gain their experience with the virus and maybe even form their own opinion. However, people look at situations from different perspectives and with different feelings. I myself know someone who tested positive for Covid-19 and who experienced complications (with an intensive care unit, etc.). His strong immune system and the fact that he is generally very fit have contributed to the fact that, despite his age (75 years), he survived this difficult time and tested negative for Covid-19 after 4 weeks. A happy (happy, happy ..) ending. You can’t write the word “happy” enough.
Covid-19 is now part of our lives.
We have to accept it – just like other diseases in our lives (e.g. HIV, influenza, tuberculosis etc.). There is nothing more we can do than protect ourselves and follow these tough precautions. As long as the virus is still spreading at this rate, it is essential. Of course, we don’t eradicate the virus with this, but we slow down the infection rate, which is of course super important because we avoid overloading our health system.
I always say that in Germany people are very cool and you hardly feel any warmth. Covid-19 and its precautions make you even duller and cooler because you get used to social distancing. You shouldn’t let that happen, however. It is very important not to lose your inner warmth due to a new illness. Remain as you are and don’t let your inner light go out. Love is so important especially in this day and age when the word has lost meaning in every respect.
Well – anyway. Be prepared for the fact that we may have to keep our shops closed for a few more weeks. Please don’t get upset about it and try to accept it. All that fuss doesn’t help us open any faster.
Remember: we are all in the same boat.
We all feel the same and are afraid of loss. Yes, me too! We don’t know what to expect after the shutdown.
Dear Ones, who would have ever thought that I – especially ME – would ever say something like this: Wear your face mask and use mascara to stay healthy – until the day we are allowed to reopen!
Sending you lots of light all the way up my beauties.
